Introduction to Freediving
This experience is a non-certification program designed to give participants a taste of what freediver training is all about. Participants will learn the basics about freediving with limited depth, time and distance.
Who this experience is for:
This program is great for individuals or groups that want to experience the sport of freediving but are not ready to commit the time nor money to a full course. This course could also work excellently as a team building experience for groups. This course does not provide a certification. However, by the end of this experience participants will feel more confident in their aptitude for the sport and be able to move forward making a better-informed decision if freediving is the right choice for them.
Course prerequisites:
- Minimum 16 years of age (Students under 18 require permission from a legal parent or guardian)
- Comfortable in the water
- Basic Swimming Skills

- Equipment introduction for freediving
- Introduction to in-water environment
- Physics and physiology of freediving
- Safety and problem management
- In-water skills introduction
Duration: Approximately 2 hours classroom, and 2 hours pool.
